Tea Time Manicure: Smith and Cult

It is no shock to any of my lovely guests that I love to paint my nails. I love to have a perfectly sharp manicure on a daily basis for a one main reason: They make me feel complete. They seem to finish off my outfit, and never fail to lift my mood. If I am having a bad day, I can turn it around with a polish change.

I have recently been having a mini love affair with a brand that just fell into my lap. Smith and Cult found its way into my nail stash when Anna from one of my fav blogs (Vivianna Does Makeup) featured it in one of her Monthly Favourites. As soon as I saw one the the shades I’m about to feature I went straight to Space NK to pick up every colour I could get my hands on…well….almost…..

Smith and Cult is a crazy brand that reminds me of Criminal Minds (all you Morgan and Garcia Fans will know exactly what I mean).  It really is truly beautiful and never fails to make me smile. Everything from the bottle, to the brush, to the shades and the finish.

Now with that love in out of the way….lets get into the shades that I have in my collection and see how much I can gush over them even more:

Darker Shades:

These are great for Autumn and Winter. The colour pay of is crazy amazing as you can have a full song colour in just 2 coats. These do need to dry 100% otherwise you can get streaky patches.

Lighter Shades:

These are great for Spring and Summer. These little guys do take a bit more work, needing about 3-4 coats depending on how generous you are.

I am planning on using one of these for my wedding manicure…..can you guess which one??? Anyone who can will get a special little treat 🙂

I hope you liked this little Smith and Cult love in. I have found their lip products in my local Space NK….so keep an eye out for another love in…I hope!!

Have a great weekend everyone xXx

Hugs and love xXx
